Scalable Path is searching for a Head of Sales and Business Development to lead sales, drive business development and manage client relationships. This is a remote position that can be done from home (or anywhere else). Scalable Path is a technical staffing agency specializing in placing remote tech contractors located globally. We provide software developers and designers to work on client projects on an hourly basis.
You will partner with our CEO as well as the recruiting, marketing, operations and development team to develop new strategies to drive business revenue.
Sales experience is preferred but isn’t necessarily required if you have great communication and people skills. However, we do require strong technical skills so that you can understand the product you are selling. A large part of the role will be guiding technically sophisticated clients towards finding the right tech solution and assembling the right development team.
We are open to either part-time or full-time. Compensation is up for discussion, but would likely be a combination of an hourly rate and a bonus structure based on performance, and we know that to attract and keep good people, you need to pay them well.
Respond to new incoming leads via email
Schedule phone calls with potential clients
Understand client needs and determine if Scalable Path is a good fit to help them
Update our CRM (currently Pipedrive) with the status of each lead
Create "positions" in our system so that an internal recruiters can find suitable candidates
Help with interviewing candidates that pass the first round of vetting
Prospect for new business
Working closely with the CEO to develop revenue goals and a vision for the business development and sales department.
Work cross-functionally with the recruiting, marketing, development and operational teams to share your vision and reach revenue goals.
Maintaining and nurturing client relationships
A strong understanding of software development (web applications, mobile applications, design, etc.). Previous experience as a developer or project manager would be great.
Experience selling technical services
Excellent written (grammar) and spoken English
